Plant An Olive Tree

Plant een Olijfboom (Plant an Olive Tree) is a Dutch non-profit organization that supports nonviolent resistance by Palestinian farmers against land confiscation by planting sponsored olive trees. In addition to this, we support Palestinians by raising awareness in the Dutch language about the situation in Palestine and we promote travel to see the situation with your own eyes and help the farmers. Our vision Plant een Olijfboom facilitates and encourages concrete action for a just peace with equality for all citizens, including the right of return for Palestinian refugees. Our motivation Behind Plant een Olijfboom is a diverse group of people with different beliefs and political affiliations. Committed volunteers, board members and coordinators stand up for human rights, justice and equality. They all believe that action should be taken against the injustice that has been done to Palestinians for decades. We work together with local Palestinian partners and journalists.
