Plasma-Tec Industries Ltd, established in 1998, mainly focuses on fabrication and repair, overlay, and specialty welding. Plasma-Tec maintains a Quality Control program certified to ASME standards and is qualified to practice as follows: Construct pressure piping as per ASME B31.1 & B31.3 Repair and/or Alter ASME Section Div. 1 Pressure Vessels Manufacture fittings in accordance with CSA B51 & the Alberta Safety Codes Act & Regulations At Plasma-Tec, we implement our own procedures and qualify and register them with the Alberta Boiler Safety Association (ABSA). In addition, Plasma-Tec Industries implemented a variety of procedures relating to weld overlay via the Plasma Transferred Arc (PTA) With the increasing demand of wear prevention, Plasma-Tec Industries primary focus has been on directly targeting the specialty welding and weld overlay market. More specifically, to provide a cost effective solution to our customers who experience problems with corrosion and wear.
