Plasmaparto specializes in ion beam deposition (IBD) as the state of the art technology for thin film deposition. IBD is used when tight control over film thickness and stoichiometry is needed. IBD produces the highest quality films with excellent precision. We design and fabricate ion sources as well as complete ion beam deposition systems for thin film coating and surface treatment applications such as: direct ion beam deposition, single or dual ion beam sputter deposition, ion beam assisted or enhanced deposition [together with traditional methods such as resistive evaporation, electron beam evaporation, magnetron sputtering], ion beam cleaning, ion beam figuring, ion beam etching and so on.
