Its production facilities use state of the art computer controlled roto-molding technology, and ultra-sonic testing of finished products. The raw material is 100% food grade polyethylene, with UV stabilisers to avoid plastic degradation. The tanks include a top cover and standard outlets. Additional accessories are available, including floats, respirators and valves; this can be pre-installed if required. The tanks are used for storing water and for sanitation in a range of sectors including household, farming, mining, tourism, wastewater, chemical handling and aquaculture throughout the country. The products are supplied in two brands: BEST and the premium PLASTEX brand. PLASTEX operates from three strategically positioned plants: Nacala (in the north), Beira (in the centre region) and Maputo (in the south). These plants facilitate its clients through fast delivery and minimum freight costs.
