PlastiCycle Malawi is a forward-thinking plastic recycling company on a mission to clean up Malawi, reduce plastic pollution, and promote a thriving circular economy. We specialize in collecting, sorting, cleaning, and processing rigid plastic waste — primarily HDPE and PP — into high-quality recycled plastic pellets. These pellets become raw material for manufacturing new products, replacing imported virgin plastic with a sustainable, locally sourced alternative. But our impact goes beyond recycling: We empower independent waste collectors, sorters, and local businesses to earn reliable income from what would otherwise be waste. We support gender equality & inclusion, ensuring opportunities for everyone in the communities we serve. We protect rivers, farmland, and urban spaces from harmful plastic pollution while reducing greenhouse gas emissions from virgin plastic production. With a processing capacity of up to 240 tonnes per month, we partner with collectors, manufacturers, and environmental organizations to build a cleaner, greener future — for Malawi and beyond.
