Commission nationally prominent artists to develop collaborative and multi-disciplinary projects that transform the cultural life of communities. Showcasing unique artists of national stature will enhance the community’s cultural offerings and bring recognition as an arts destination. Platform Art will collaborate with the larger arts community to advance local appreciation of world class art. Offer student artists opportunities to work in the public realm. Young artists thrive when given opportunities to work with professional artists and to exhibit their work in new forums. Platform Art will actively support students seeking higher education and careers in the art field. Provide a platform for relevant, contemporary public art. Platform Art has established itself as a trailblazer in creating and promoting public art projects. We will continue to seek opportunities to present leading edge, modern art. Serve as a resource and catalyst for public and private sectors to increase cultural tourism and economic development.
