Platform Venture is a startup platform designed to enable individuals who have been successful academically and in their professional careers segue into a new role as an entrepreneur. What is unique about Platform Venture is that you can confirm a proposed disruptive technology or process and its resulting addressable market, without having to take on the aggregate opportunity cost of changing careers all at once. Partner with Platform Venture means you are able to produce a minimum viable product and get pilots into the market, without having to leave your current position. Unlike the Immersive Accelerators like Techstars, Y Combinator, etc. the typical would-be entrepreneur who partners with Platform Venture is not a person just starting out in business who has limited opportunity cost of quitting their current role and completely committing to the Accelerator program. Also unlike the "Immersive Accelerators" we want the individuals we partner with to be able to lead their startups over the long term, not get them going via an "assembly line processes", then be replaced by someone with substantial operating experience. Working with us, you can count on support on all front - technical, financial, design, project management, go-to-market, etc. We have been doing this since the Mid 1990's.
