Platoon 22

Platoon 22 is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending veteran suicide through connection, purpose, and access to critical resources. Based in Frederick, Maryland, we empower veterans to build fulfilling lives after service by addressing the complex challenges of transition, mental health, housing, and reintegration into civilian life. Our mission is grounded in the belief that no veteran should struggle alone. Platoon 22 provides personalized case management, peer support, and care coordination that help veterans navigate behavioral health systems, connect with counseling and treatment, and access financial, housing, and employment support. We work side by side with local partners, the VA, and community organizations to deliver wraparound services that address each veteran’s unique needs. Through community programs, wellness initiatives, and suicide prevention outreach, we focus on removing barriers that often prevent veterans from seeking help. Whether it’s transportation to care, financial assistance, or access to alternative wellness activities like art, yoga, and group support, Platoon 22 ensures that help is not just available—it’s accessible and veteran-driven. Each year, we serve hundreds of veterans and their families, guiding them toward stability, healing, and renewed purpose. Together with our partners, donors, and supporters, we are building a community where every veteran feels seen, valued, and connected. Because for us, the mission continues—and no one fights alone.
