Built and grown organically over the past decade, The Play Network Africa has amassed over highly successful investors, entrepreneurs, career professionals, celebrities and luxury lifestyle influencers across Africa in our portfolio. The Play Network, originally Play Entertainment, started off in the year 2008 as a group of luxury lifestyle destinations in Nigeria’s top commercial cities - Lagos, Abuja, Calabar, Owerri and Jos, cutting across the nightlife and hospitality industries, with a strict target audience of the top 1- 5% of Nigeria’s elite. The Play Network Africa has gone ahead since then, to expand her reach recently through outstanding movie productions across Africa, with our first project being ‘Living in Bondage: the Sequel’ which won 7 awards including the Best Nollywood Movie in 2019 at the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA) in Lagos.
