Playtend

Playtend is a small creative studio focused on making products that encourage imagination and creative play in children. We’re especially interested in creating toys and experiences that focus on encouraging creativity and problem solving. Our goal is to create open spaces where kids can play and to provide tools which allow kids to create their own magic. Things like a special coloring book, an awesome train set, a magic monster maker, or a story you can customize and make your own. We create worlds that are flexible enough to allow kids to infuse a bit of their own fun, but with enough structure to teach fundamental concepts. We’ve seen our own kids learn their ABC’s and 123′s from our apps, and we want to continue to extend the magic of that moment to other parents and kids.
