Pleasant Plains First Aid

Established in 1960, Pleasant Plains First Aid, Squad 33, proudly provides 9-1-1 volunteer BLS pre-hospital emergency medical services to the residents of Pleasant Plains and Toms River, New Jersey. Our dedicated members are all certified EMTs recognized by the New Jersey Department of Health and OEMS. These volunteers devote countless hours of their personal time to respond to emergencies, participate in ongoing training, and support the squad’s operations. Many of our members also contribute to maintaining the fleet, assisting with fundraising efforts, and ensuring our organization remains fully operational. We respond to a wide range of emergencies, including motor vehicle accidents, falls, strokes, cardiac events, respiratory emergencies, and more. In addition, we provide standby medical support at some community events and assist neighboring towns during times of need. Our fleet of ambulances, state-of-the-art equipment, and continuous training ensures we are always prepared to respond effectively. We take great pride in our skilled volunteers, who selflessly give their time and skills to serve the community, as well as in our well-maintained resources. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our mission relies on the unwavering dedication of our volunteers and the generous support of the communities we serve.
