Our mission is to drastically change the investment landscape to help Advisors and Individual Investors make more money. Who we are. We are a team of financial professionals – with backgrounds in money management and investment and portfolio allocation – who believed there had to be a better, more fair way than AUM fees. We’re kinda geeks. We like researching stocks and companies and trends and numbers. So we developed our Flat Fee Model and we started Ploutos. What we do. We develop and manage financial strategies for advisors to use to manage the investments of their own clients. We’re kinda like “the money managers behind the money managers.” And we’re constantly looking for new tools and resources that will help our clients help their clients. What is insourcing? It’s a word we made up for advisors who manage their clients’ money instead of outsourcing or sub-advising. How does it work? It’s simple. You select the strategies that best fit your clients and we tell you what and when to buy and sell. There’s no need for a joint account and you don’t have to share any client data with us. We do not care if you use these strategies with one or a thousand clients. Sounds much cheaper than the AUM model. Is it? Like you wouldn’t believe. Check out some of the basic savings you could realize through our Flat Fee Model. Why the name Ploutos? In ancient Greek mythology, Ploutos was the God of wealth and abundance. Ploutos as a child was blinded by Zeus, so that he would be able to dispense his gifts without prejudice. We dispense ideas without prejudice to help you make money. Except we’re not blind. We don’t even wear glasses.
