Pmag Cluster

Packaging Manufacturers Association of Georgia (PMAG) is the first Georgian packaging cluster. Its mission is to support the packaging industry and individual members to enhance competitiveness and scale up, through synergies of collaboration across the value chain. It brings together packaging producers from Tbilisi, Kakheti and Imereti regions. The cluster was created within the framework of the EU-funded “EU innovative action for private sector competitiveness in Georgia”. With the help of the project, initial 2020-2023 PMAG packaging strategy was developed to support packaging industry and individual members to enhance competitiveness and scale up through synergies of collaboration across the value chain, promote environmentally friendly practices and safety of workplaces. Members benefit from access to industry knowledge and networks, leveraging collaborative efforts and being on the cutting edge (be right at the front of the industry).
