Pmi Nova Scotia Chapter

Since its founding in 1969, the Project Management Institute (PMI) has grown to be the organization of choice for the project management professional. With more than half a million members and credential holders in more than 185 countries worldwide, PMI is the leading non-profit professional association in the area of Project Management. PMI establishes project management standards, provides seminars,educational programs and professional certification that more and more organizations desire for their project leaders. Chartered in January 1998, the Nova Scotia Chapter has been very active in providing professional development workshops, dinner meetings, seminars and symposiums. The Chapter holds a variety of professional development programs and study groups to assist members working toward a PMI certification, such as the Program Management Professional (PgMP), Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) designation.
