POBLO International is an Evangelical Christian organization working to meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of Muslims and other immigrants and refugee populations in the United States by sharing the love of Jesus in practical and culturally relevant ways. Mission: To share the Love of Jesus with Muslims and other unreached groups in the United States by equipping churches to engage in cross-cultural missions Vision: To empower churches in the United States to engage in cross-cultural missions so that all Muslims have the opportunity to hear the Gospel message POBLO utilizes a three-pronged strategy for our work: MISSIONS GRASSROOTS COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT TRAINING AND EDUCATION By engaging in cross-cultural missions and grassroots community outreach here in the U.S, and by training and partnering with local churches, POBLO is working to revolutionize the way the Gospel is shared. While POBLO’s primary focus is immigrants and refugees from a Muslim background, we also reach out to people from Hindu, Sikh, and Buddhist backgrounds. We serve people from Middle Eastern, South Asian, and North African countries, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Nepal, Pakistan, Senegal, Somalia, Sudan, and Syria. To date, we have served more than individuals globally. POBLO works in strategic partnership with churches and missionaries across the country in order to expand our reach and multiply our efforts at reaching American Muslims and others immigrant and refugee populations with the Gospel message. Our unique strategy of training ethnic missionaries enables us to share the Gospel with people in their own language and in a culturally relevant way.
