Podcast Discovery

Podcast Discovery was set-up to solve a key problem for podcasters – how to get their shows discovered. To make a show a success is not easy. Assuming that the concept is a brilliant one and that the audio sounds really good, you still need to work very hard to get people to find it and listen. Our team combines owned, earned and paid media to create campaigns to establish or re-introduce podcasts to the world. Here at Podcast Discovery we have our own routes to listeners – we run Podcast Rex and the Great British Podcasts newsletter (that over listeners receive each week) alongside a website and social platforms. We work with podcast platforms (like Spotify and Apple), audio reviewers from newspapers and websites and podcast shows and networks to get your show featured. We also have a media planning team that can buy podcast advertising (spot or live reads) in individual shows or on networks like Acast, DAX and Octave Media. We can also plan campaigns on social media, video and outdoor too. Podcast Discovery was set up by Matt Deegan and Matt Hill, who co-founded the British Podcast Awards (and ran sister awards in Ireland and Australia).
