Podcasthon: The Global Charity Podcast Event Podcasthon is a groundbreaking initiative that unites podcasters from around the world to support charitable causes and inspire positive change. Launched in 2023, Podcasthon has grown rapidly, with over 400 podcasts participating in 2024 and more than 1,500 expected for the 2025 edition. The concept is both simple and powerful: each participating podcaster dedicates one episode of their show to spotlight a charity of their choice. These episodes are released in a coordinated effort during a special week in March, creating a massive wave of inspiring and meaningful content that raises awareness for hundreds of causes worldwide. Open to all podcasts—regardless of size, language, or format—Podcasthon celebrates diversity and inclusion, showcasing the unique voice of every podcaster. Through interviews, solo episodes, or audio reports, participants highlight the incredible work of organizations in areas such as education, health, the environment, and social justice. As a nonprofit initiative, Podcasthon is powered by volunteers and supported by major industry partners like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Acast, and Ausha. Together, we harness the unique power of podcasts—intimate, in-depth, and impactful—to connect listeners with causes that matter. Behind this initiative is a dedicated volunteer team: co-founders Yves Delnatte and Jeremie Mani, along with Ana Xavier, a Podcast Marketing Strategist and Host based in the USA.
