Pohs Institute was founded in New York City in 1921 by Herbert Pohs. Mr. Pohs’ vision was to create a school that delivered the finest education combined with first-rate customer service all at a competitive price. Under his guidance, Pohs Institute quickly became known as the leading provider of insurance and real estate education, gaining an unrivaled reputation and licensing thousands of insurance and real estate agents in the New York Metropolitan area. Today, over insurance and real estate agents can say that they are a Pohs Institute alumnus. While regarded as the leader in classroom education, Pohs Institute has built, and continues to build, a substantial library of self-study and online CE courses in response to the changing times and new State regulations. These alternative delivery methods allow flexibility in pricing and scheduling for our students to complete their CE requirements. Our public course schedules are flexible. Days, nights or weekend classes are all viable options in order to meet our customers demanding schedules.
