Pointers In Need

Pointers In Need, is a registered dog rescue charity solely set up for the rescue of Pointers (English), from in the main, Spain, France, Greece and Ireland. But we have rescued from throughout mainland Europe. We have also rescued a couple of full bred Pointers from the Korean meat markets, and successfully rehomed them to adopters in US & Canada. Claire Stokes and Jan Britton who previously were involved in English Pointer Rescue a separate rescue charity, set up Pointers In Need in August 2016. Since inception, the organisation has successfully rehomed and financially supported 100s of Pointers throughout the UK. All of the rehomes are subject to individual Adoption Agreements, meaning that the dogs remain the property of Pointers In Need for the rest of their lives. We are proud to say that 99% of our adoptions are successful. We have a marvellous team of dedicated Pointer lovers, who give up their time for the cause, and it can be quite a time consuming process to rehome a dog. Many of the team have rescues themselves and will gladly tell anyone the rewards in rescuing this lovely breed can bring.
