POJ Studio strives to keep dying traditions alive by nurturing an ecosystem that allows for craftspeople to continue their work by: 1) Sharing the stories of craftspeople and raising awareness about the challenges the crafts industry is facing in Japan; 2) Tying demands for authentic Japanese crafts to the craftspeople that make them by introducing high-quality, timeless, and functional lifestyle goods, for the modern home; 3) Investing in the next generation by promoting values of repair and using long-lasting products, actively engaging in initiatives to grow raw materials used by craftspeople sustainably, and using recycled and reusable packaging.
