Polar Aspect offer Arctic expertise, educational innovation and professional services to the public, private and educational sectors. Polar Aspect produce insightful research, analysis and commentary on Arctic affairs, particularly Arctic policy and governance. Our work is grounded in first-hand experience of the Arctic, and it has featured in numerous publications, as well as at academic and professional conferences and seminars. Passionate about raising awareness of the Arctic amongst youth, Polar Aspect run the world’s only secondary-school Model Arctic Council (MAC) events. Our MACs bring pupils together to learn about the Arctic, its peoples and its special challenges by playing the roles of diplomats at a simulated Arctic Council. Polar Aspect offer bespoke research, analysis and advice to governments, businesses and third-sector organisations, as well as inspirational educational programmes to schools, universities and other institutions. Our Arctic expertise and educational innovation are at your service. Polar Aspect is managed by its founder, Dr Anthony Speca, formerly a policy official in the Canadian Arctic. Polar Aspect is based near Norwich, United Kingdom, and is registered in Iqaluit, Nunavut, Canada.
