Polarm Behavioural detection officers (BDOs) are trained to identify the behavioural indicators associated with a potential threat, unlawful activity or vulnerable persons. If they identify such behaviours our trained BDO’s can engage with the individuals concerned, make assessments and as a last resort take appropriate and proportionate action which can then be justified to higher authority or in court.Where unlawful activity is discovered using behavioural detection the respective individual is referred to other appropriate agencies such as the Police or Security. POLARM's Behavioural detection service is a well-established discipline where we have trained and carried out operations with the Police, SIA law enforcement and Military working on transport jurisdictions around the UK and world.
