Ponder Magazine

Ponder Magazine is the only student-led publication in South Dakota and the Upper Midwest, based out of Black Hills State University. We are dedicated to showcasing the talent, culture, and creativity that define our region. Our mission is to highlight artists, writers, designers, photographers, musicians, historians, and innovators who are passionate about their craft and making a lasting impact in their field. We feature stories from all around the Upper Midwest, which includes South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Nebraska, and Colorado. Each issue features a carefully curated selection of feature stories, celebrating the people and businesses that shape our cultural landscape. We also shine a spotlight on organizations that contribute to the community in meaningful ways, ensuring that the voices of local changemakers are heard. Beyond the pages of our magazine, Ponder is committed to fostering creative dialogue and engagement.
