While the company ultimately closed due to bankruptcy, this page was created by former team members to honor the creativity, commitment, and accomplishments behind the project. At its peak, Pooky attracted over users, with a vibrant and engaged community of active players. The core product was a football prediction game spanning global leagues, where users could forecast match outcomes and refine their approach through an evolving upgrade system. The mechanics rewarded insight, timing, and strategic experimentation offering players more than just luck or casual betting. Behind the scenes, Pooky was built by a remote, international team of designers, developers, engineers, and community builders. We weren’t following formulas. We were testing ideas in the fast-moving world of gaming, learning through iteration, and building with heart. Many of us continue to carry that experience into new roles, startups, and creative endeavors.
