POOLA school is an international school, located on a 6 acre campus overlooking a scenic valley near Rajankunte off of Yelahanka-Doddabalapur highway, in Bangalore North. Our aim is to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere that is safe and secure for all. We believe in the overall development of our children and achieve this by attracting the best talent in teachers and staff, understanding children's ability/disability/environment, having smaller class size, involving parents and the community in their education and having a comprehensive and cohesive curriculum. We use Montessori method of instruction for pre-school and kindergartners and work towards an ICSE curriculum. We also provide after school day care facility. Our beliefs- an open-mind and continuous-learning, enshrined in our school emblem, should be a way of life- a diverse environment, not just culturally but in thought, experience and ideas, will foster creativity and excellence- everyone can achieve their full potential- everyone is entitled to a safe and healthy environment- mutual respect, regardless of age, beliefs, status, background or achievement. Our approach to learning- is a multifaceted, comprehensive and cohesive program, enabling every student to succeed in school and society- does not believe in "a system of learning", but a research based approach that is constantly looking at ways of removing barriers to learning and development- fosters good attitude and understands factors leading to learning, behavioral and emotional issues- involves parents, teachers and the community in the education process- supports parents helping children learn at home.
