Like pop music itself, Popchops is an escape from reality - where friendship never ends, love don't cost a thing and the party don't start 'till you walk in. Popchops began as a podcast in 2014, airing on iTunes. Popchops moved to a live format at the end of 2015 on JOY 94.9 in Melbourne, Australia and operated as a live, interactive show, as well as its original podcast format. In July 2017 Popchops once again became an exclusive Podcast. Popchops has had guest interviews by The Veronicas, Tegan and Sara, B*Witched and more. Popchops has also expanded to include live events, including club nights, pop trivia nights and listening parties, as well as DJ spots in Melbourne.
