My name is Yan Santos, I am a Financial Modeller with 16 years of experience in FP & A, corporate finance, and strategic advisory. From early in my career I have always believed that a well built financial model can solve any corporate problem. POPE & CHARIOT is the corporate vehicle I created to “carry this gospel”. The name is inspired by the 5th and 7th Major Arcanas from The Rider Waite Tarot Cards Deck. Designed FY26 budget model for Prezzee, enabling stress testing across 15+ funding pathways and directly supporting $50M+ equity raising. Created board-ready outputs (automated tables, dashboards, charts) improving CFO reporting efficiency by 30%. Recent clients include: Prezzee Built their FY26 corporate budget model to support strategic decision-making for a leading global digital gift card platform. The model featured clear logic, consistent formulas, and dynamic assumptions, enabling seamless scenario analysis and stress testing. Designed for both numerical accuracy and intuitive organisation, it allowed the CFO to easily trace calculations, understand key drivers, and extract automated tables and visual insights for management and board reporting. Sonder Built short, medium and long term forecasts for Sonder, a mid-sized start up, to raise AUD $350 million in Series C debt and equity capital. Gelion Model built to guide a rapidly growing battery manufacturer listed on LSE through the raising of institutional and open capital enabling development of their next generation of their innovative battery technology. Stoker (stoker.life) Built an end-to-end, fully integrated financial model linking operational metrics to financial outcomes for an Australian peer-to-peer marketplace as they prepared for a major capital raise.
