Popeci Utilaj Greu, located in Craiova is the sole heavy construction plant in Romania and the largestt one in Eastern Europe. Popeci is a well-known company in the heavy industry field, manufacturing machine building and heavy equipment for a broad range of industrial sectors. Craiova plant offers significant potential including cutting up to 12m, bending up to 8m with 600t press force, rolling up to 300mm thickness for a complete roll, milling on a 28m long bed with 2 mobile portals ( the biggest in Europe), machining carousel up to 10m in diameter maximum part format, lifting capacity up to 320t. We are ready to take on challenging projects with high complexity products production and final assembling ( mechanical assembling, electrical or hydraulic assembling).
