Popper Power builds a platform that transforms streetlight poles into AI-managed, instantly deployable, decentralized virtual power plant hubs with integrated energy storage. These distributed microgrids provide peak load shaving and public curbside fast charging for electric and autonomous vehicles, supported by bidirectional power flow (V2X) and dynamic tariffs. The platform is designed for public lighting operators that already manage streetlight assets, as well as parking operators. By activating infrastructure that is already deployed but largely underutilized, operators generate new revenue streams through EV charging and grid services, including selling electricity back to the grid.
