Popplewell Composites is an Australian bull breeding and beef genetics business specialising in the design and supply of high-performance composite bulls for Northern Australian beef production systems. Our breeding programs are built around measured genetic gain, combining targeted Sanga, Bos indicus, and Bos taurus content to deliberately capture hybrid vigour (heterosis) and key major gene outcomes, including polledness, alongside selection for fertility, resilience, growth efficiency, and carcase performance. Genetic selection and mating decisions are driven by GenoRater®, our proprietary genomic evaluation platform, which integrates major gene data, genomic relationships, and real-world performance information to optimise composite structure, key attributes, and long-term genetic gain. This allows us to deliver cattle that are genetically benchmarked against industry populations and validated for performance in real commercial environments and supply chains.
