We are an independent marine conservation organization driven by a team of scientists, conservationists, activists, communicators and policy experts that converge for the protection and restoration of the ocean. Through localized science, environmental policies, activism, and community stewardship we seek to create effective conservation strategies that protect and restore the ocean and our connectedness to it. We are now living on a blue planet that reflects just one-tenth of the natural abundance it once had. Life began on the ocean and life (for us) could end if we don't truly address climate change and the loss of biodiversity. We want to challenge possibilities with imagination and rewild the ocean together. We believe we still have time to restore all we can and protect what is left.
