Founded by Martina Niland, Port Pictures is a leading Irish production company, producing innovative film and television for a local and global audience. With more than twenty years' industry experience, Martina has an extensive list of film & television credits to her name, including the critically acclaimed, Academy Award winning ONCE and the Golden Globe nominated SING STREET. Some recent and current productions include: the TV adaptation of Graham Norton’s best-selling novel, HOLDING, for ITV Studios and FOUR MOTHERS, the feature film adaption of Gianni Di Gregorio’s Mid-August Lunch, co-written and directed by IFTA-winning director Darren Thornton, due for release in 2023. Upcoming productions include the feature film FOUR LETTERS OF LOVE, based on the best-selling novel by Niall Williams, THE GOOD PEOPLE with award-winning Australian company Aquarius Films ('Lion') and based on the acclaimed novel of the same name by Hannah Kent and the inspiring feature film, ETHEL, helmed by acclaimed Irish director Aisling Walsh ('Maudie').
