Portable PPB Pty Ltd holds the exclusive global licence to the detectORE(TM) technology invented by Australia's national science agency, CSIRO. For the first time, this technology enables gold explorers and miners to gain ppb level gold analyses anywhere using specific high end off-the-shelf pXRF and the use of a single use consumable. The company completed extensive testwork on more than samples, prior to commerial release in July 2022 covering a broad range of gold mineralisation styles and regolith materials. Since commercial release our products have assisted in three or more gold discoveries and today the technology is in use on 6 continents and more than 34 countries with clients that include major miners and laboratories, midtiers and junior explorers. The detectORE technology is simple, safe, robust and easy to use. It is designed to be operated by technicians, anywhere. It is more than a gold analysis. It is a process, in that it facilitates decisions to be made from the field camp or remote mine site avoiding "The Wait" associated with traditional work flows that require sending samples off site to determine gold concentrations. Geologists armed with gold assays anywhere, same day or next day can react to the results and redirect work to focus on those areas returning relevant results from surface, near surface or subsurface samples. They can be guided by gold assays to find gold and thus explore in a smarter, much faster and highly cost effective way. Automation is another key feature, developing rugged systems that take the drudgery of routine data collection from pXRF away from field operators so they are freed up to do more stimulating work while quality fit-for-purpose data can be collected on site day and night, all helping to advance projects and decision making around the clock.
