Porto Space Team

Porto Space Team is an association of engineering students driven by a shared mission: to fill the void in university-level, space-related projects here in Porto and across the northern region of Portugal. We envision the constant growth of the space industry to continue in the upcoming years, therefore we’re taking proactive steps to ensure that we are ready for the future that awaits us in the aerospace world. Since our founding in May 2022, our ranks have increased to around 70 dedicated members (March 2024). Currently, our main objective is to build the INVICTUS, a hybrid-motor rocket to compete in the yearly competition EuRoC, European Rocketry Challenge. As of September 2023, the PLUTUS Project was created with the goal of helping high school students in making informed decisions about their academic and career paths, by promoting different engineering areas linked with Porto Space Team and FEUP.
