Portuguese Today

Of course teaching a language without using translation or grammar explanations is a challenge! The challenge is in determining the order of importance of each word, including verbs and expressions. The order is driven by the frequency of use in the daily vocabulary of the people. The selection process about the importance of each word was determined after extensive study. The challenge and the pride of educators is determined by accelerating the results achieved, and eliminating wasted time and effort, for each student. For this reason we at Portuguese Today have gone to considerable care in the production of our videos, using numerous illustrations in order to teach Portuguese with less effort and less time invested for the students, facilitating student understanding and minimizing the need for dictionary searches for translations. We opted for the association method, the way we learn our native language – a more natural and faster method.
