Deliciously building the India's most loved Biryani brand. Biryani is India's most loved dish across the age and income groups. Its a sumptuous meal in itself and a very balanced meal. Organized biryani market is estimated to be ~$4bn as of 2023 and half of it is ordered in. Unlike QSR category, where the top 5 players control >85% of market share, biryani category doesn't have a leader with a significant market share. To do so, you need to get two basics right. One, choice of biryanis to be relevant to consumers across India and a scalable, low capex business model (de-skilled, consistency driven) to become a large national brand. Today, we are the largest handi biryani brand in south of India and operate 26 Cloud kitchens, 2 Central Kitchens, 2 warehouses and have delivered authentic piping hot sumptuous biryanis to >2Mn+ customers across Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai. Our success so far is due to three key obsessions. One, our obsession with excellence in customer experience (VOC). Two, our people must grow for our business to grow and Three, discipline and commitment towards sustainable & profitable growth. Our business has impacted lives of 100+ artisans (Potters) who make our biryani pots and we hope it benefits of Potters across India as we grow. We do not use single use plastics and send dhania seeds with every biryani order and encourage our customers to re-use the claypots at their home.
