With a reputation for excellence dating back to 1913, Potter Lawson, Inc. is an architectural, planning, and interior design firm. We were recently named #1 commercial architect by In Business Magazine for the second year. In 2002 we were honored to receive the AIA Wisconsin Architecture Firm of the Year award, the highest honor the American Institute of Architects-Wisconsin can give to a design firm. With approximately 35 employees, our staff size is small enough to ensure principal involvement on every project, yet large enough to take on complex and challenging projects. Our firm is organized into four groups of specialization. The Corporate Group concentrates on designing office space that improves efficiency and productivity. Our Education Group focuses on K-12 and higher education facilities that create exciting spaces that stimulate learning and spur collaboration. The Justice/Municipal Group designs city and county facilities that serve and protect our communities, while our Research/High Tech Group specializes in laboratory and research spaces that are on the “cutting edge” of science. Potter Lawson is also a leader in sustainable design, with over 44% our staff being LEED Accredited Professionals.
