Potters Fields Park Management Trust was founded in 2005 as a not-for-profit organisation. We manage and maintain Potters Fields Park and St. John’s Churchyard to the highest standard as open public spaces for recreation, leisure and enjoyment. Most of our income is earned from event hire; this enables us to provide award-winning facilities for everyone. We are committed to our parks and love to share them by offering a range of events as well as access to and education in horticulture, arboriculture and wildlife to our communities. The objectives for which the Trust was established have become even more important as our larger park, Potters Fields Park, is one of the few remaining open green spaces next to the river. We will continue to: • Manage and maintain as public open spaces the Parks known as ‘Potters Fields Park’ & ‘St John’s Churchyard Park’, offering educational & recreational benefits to all visitors, local, national and international • work in partnership with near neighbours by raising awareness through education, and leading by example in all areas of horticulture, arboriculture & wildlife best practice • Offer two distinctive parks that each reflects its unique local history, at the same time providing safe, clean & restful spaces for private contemplation within the bustle of the city.
