Pour Over Love

Pour Over Love is a non-profit organization that is aimed to serve youth experiencing homelessness in Atlanta, through Leadership Development, Job-Training, and Mentorship. Our Program // Our youth will go through an initial 2-month leadership development and an on-the-job training program (including an internship with one of our partners), as well as continued education throughout the year program. Pour Over Love will not only train youth experiencing homelessness with the skills they need to secure stable work, but also ensure their job placement with local partners. In addition to job training, Pour Over Love offers trainees a full year of mentorship and personal development programming to provide support for their long-term success. Our Why // In 2019, Founder Ryan Jaskot, Co-Chair of the Young Professionals Board of Covenant House Atlanta (a youth homeless shelter for ages 18-24), was mentoring multiple youth when he realized most of these youth had a nine-to-five job to collect a paycheck, but it was strictly transactional. These youth all had passions and desires to grow, but no one to coach and encourage them on how to take real steps to achieve them. They needed a community who was willing to genuinely invest in them and their future. That’s where Pour Over Love’s comes in: Our mission is to pour our love into our community by equipping, empowering and encouraging youth experiencing homelessness to grow to pursue their passions.
