Founded in 2016, Power is Giving is a federally recognized charitable organization on a mission to provide culturally resonant whole food, plant-based (WFPB) lifestyle education that empowers disproportionately impacted and communities to prevent, arrest and reverse lifestyle-driven chronic illnesses through optimal wellness programming, resources and advocacy in Charlotte, NC. Through our suite of year-round programs titled Eat, Drink & Disrupt (EDD), and our collaborative partnerships, we help build thriving, informed and equitable communities that enable Black and Brown people to regain agency over their health through culturally relatable, accessible and affordable evidence-based solutions.
