Powerboat Training UK in Poole, Dorset and its sister companies Aquasafe Powerboat School in Lymington and Marine Education in Poole are RYA Training Centres teaching the full range of RYA Powerboat, Personal Watercraft ('jetski'), Motor Cruising and Shorebased Courses. In addition to being a RYA Training Centre we are also a MCA Accredited Training Centre and also a Scottish Qualification Authority (‘SQA’) training provider. We are members of British Marine and the Professional Charter Association. Established over 20 years we have long strived to deliver safe, fun and inspiring training. We have invested heavily in our boats, classrooms and training equipment to ensure that our client base - who expect a highly professional service - are enthused by the training they received. We hope that our website and social media gives a pretty good insight into how we approach what we do. The company's Principal is Paul Glatzel who is Author of the RYA Powerboat Handbook and the RYA Advanced Powerboat Handbook. Paul writes for Powerboat & RIB Magazine each month and also acts as an expert witness for various agencies after incidents afloat. The school only employs highly experienced, patient and knowledgable instructors and has professional, tidy and well resourced classrooms - with good coffee! The school runs 2 large Ribcraft RIBs, a Rodman 1250 motor cruiser, a Jeanneau Cap Camarat and three jetskis.
