Supported by a growing consensus of global leaders and rigorous academic data, PowerSisterhood recognizes that investing in girls produces significant social and economic returns, making them powerful agents of change. In partnership with foundations, business and educational institutions, and social entrepreneurs, PowerSisterhood is an autonomous and self-sustaining for-profit enterprise committed to donating 100% of net royalties and profits to funding educational scholarships for girls The organization seeks to build a global network of school and university students who facilitate the exchange of knowledge and resources in support of its mission. The organization inspires and coordinates talented and highly motivated young women and men in schools and universities worldwide by providing comprehensive curricular materials, convening conferences, hosting workshops and webinars, and mentoring students in support of their fundraising efforts. PowerSisterhood strives to model profit-donation-capitalism, and to become preeminent in the field of girls’ educational funding. We seek to build a global funding network of some member schools and to become one of the more important philanthropies focused on the education and empowerment of girls.
