PowerTiller has designed and now manufactures mechanical controls for tiller steered sailing vessels. Our controls include outboard motor remote shift, remote throttle, remote start/stop/choke and motor steering. Our systems are designed to integrate with the boat tiller. Our design criteria are: Simple, light, effective, durable, high quality controls that add value for the customer by providing a safer platform from which to operate the various functions of the auxiliary outboard motor without interfering with other boat systems. In effect we bring functionality usually associated with far more expensive wheel and lever systems to the boat operator by employing controls that mount directly to the boats tiller without taking up a single square inch of precious cockpit space.
