Practical People Management

Practical People Management ("PPM") specialises in workplace human relations programs and services, with a particular focus on all aspects of performance management, such as helping managers work with their staff to provide a safe and productive working environment. PPM programs include all aspects of teamwork, communication, culture change and ongoing skills development workshops for all levels of managers and staff. PPM also conducts a wide range of personal development programs that relate to improving emotional intelligence and soft skills. PPM designs, develops and delivers competency-based programs in education and training, communication and problem-solving, such as conflict resolution skills and mediation processes, from tricky personality clashes to major breakdowns in productivity and public relations. Pia Christensen is workplace consultant, facilitator, coach and trainer who has been closely involved with personal, team and organisation development for over 20 years, working with community, public and private sector organisations. She is highly qualified in adult education, which includes a Master of Education (Human Resource Development) and accreditations in conflict resolution, mediation and personality instruments such as the Myers Briggs Type Indicator.
