PraeVeni SBC works with community organizations, schools, athletic associations, and expert Cardiologists to prevent sudden cardiac death (SCD) by providing an affordable state-of-the-art heart screening test within the community. Risk features associated with SCD have structural, functional, and hemodynamic features that emerge silently over time. An echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) is uniquely capable of seeing inside the body to measure and evaluate these features long before symptoms or disease are evident. PraeVeni’s heart screening test includes a Risk Assessment Questionnaire, blood pressure check, and an echocardiogram designed to unequivocally affirm heart and blood vessel features that are associated with SCD are NORMAL and rule-out ABNORMAL.
