Prairie HVAC/R is a rapidly growing 100% locally owned company that is headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. Having been in operation for over 17 years, we are industry leaders for insights and best in class service. Our scope is Manitoba from tip to toe, as well as other surrounding Canadian geographies. Prairie HVAC/R is proud to employ a dynamic team of best-in-class Journeyman and Apprentices. With factory training and continuing education always in play, we provide an exceptionally efficient customer experience. We carry a 2:1 Journeyman to Apprentice ratio. All our technicians carry RCMP FA2 & PSPC Reliability clearances. Our primary areas of expertise include but are not limited to Arena’s & Curling Clubs, Industrial Refrigeration, Commercial HVAC, Controls & Automation, Alternative Energy along with Electrical and Power Engineering Services. We are the factory representatives for SMARDT Chillers and Distech Controls but have the capabilities to work on any mechanical system or automation in the industry. Prairie HVAC/R has extensive experience working with Ammonia and specializes in Freon & CO2 systems as well. In-house Controls and Electrical Divisions coupled with in-house Engineering and Project Management, create a one stop shop feel for our customers. Whether design/build/install or maintenance, Prairie HVAC/R has the capabilities to take a project from conception to completion. Having successfully executed projects valued over $2MM, we have built a brand our customers trust and rely on. Workplace safety is of paramount importance with any project we undertake. We are COR Certified, and maintain the highest standard in safety for our employees and partners. In 2019 we were recognized for 10 years of COR participation. Our in-house safety officer manages protocols and ensures we are always compliant with government regulations. We are proud members of Recreation Manitoba, BOMA, WCA, iiar, ASHRAE and APEGM.
