Praja Raag

Praja Research Analysis and Advocacy Group (RAAG) is a non-profit dedicated to research and advocacy work on local civic issues like mobility, e-governance, urban planning and sustainable development in the cities and state of Karnataka. Praja RAAG also operates a citizen collaboration website at to gather public opinion and crowd-source ideas and public analysis. Praja RAAG was founded after a group of individuals operating the citizen collaboration website praja.in joined hands to create a non-profit organization to promote thoughts and concepts generated on the website. Over past few years, Praja RAAG has seeded, executed or has been associated with multiple initiatives. These include public research/advocacy of projects and concepts like- Bus Day to promote usage of BMTC - Namma Railu to campaign for Commuter Rail Service for Bengaluru Suburban area - Non Motorized Transportation (NMT) – Cycle lanes in Central Business District areas of Bengaluru - Amendment of Karnataka Apartment Owners Association Act - Bus Priority System a low cost quick win adaptation of BRTS- KSRTC Website Review and more.
