Prediscan Medtech is a purpose-driven startup incubated at HTIC - IIT Madras, dedicated to transforming primary health screening with Responsible Medical AI. Our goal is to make mass screening simple, fast, and accessible, helping healthcare systems strengthen primary preventive care. Backed by deep medical research, technological expertise, and real-world insights, we are developing a non-invasive health screening platform that uses simple eye scans (medically known as fundus imaging) to detect early signs of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as heart, kidney, and liver diseases. Currently at the prototype stage (TRL-3, BRL-2), our technology provides actionable health insights by extracting essential health parameters—such as cholesterol levels and eGFR levels—from fundus images. This enables mass primary health screening without the need for multiple invasive and complex tests, making it ideal for organizations involved in community medicine, NCD screening, medical camps, and corporate health programs. Our team brings together deep learning engineers, biomedical engineers, medical doctors, designers, and market researchers, all united by a passion for advancing preventive healthcare.
