Preemio Ry

Preemio ry is a student association of business students at Kuopio in the University of Eastern Finland (UEF). The official language of the association is Finnish. Founded in 2001 and with around 600 members today, we have quickly established our position as one of the most active and visible student associations on the UEF Kuopio campus. The main goals of the association are working as an intermediator between its members and the public, providing student advocacy and helping in making important connections with other business student associations and companies in Finland and abroad. Preemio organizes various activities for its members and students from other fields of science on a yearly basis. The biggest and most festive of them all is our Annual Ball in February. Our other annual events include the Huipulle-seminaari (Seminar ‘To the Top’) in the autumn, the May Day week and the Freshman orientation weeks, various sporting events and at least six different themed Sitsit parties per year. The association is coordinated by a board of ten members. All our members can, and are encouraged to, participate through our many clubs and committees.
