PDA is a soccer academy committed to maximizing every player's potential. Through our partnerships and innovative training methods, we offer our players opportunities beyond the norm of the traditional soccer practice/game model. At PDA we believe that all children, regardless of innate ability, deserve the same degree of professionalism and individualized coaching. Our dedication to creating an emotionally safe environment for our players allows kids to take chances, be active decision makers, and regard mistakes as a necessary part of growth. We want our kids to play soccer and not work it. PDA is about so much more than just kicking a soccer ball, scoring goals, or winning games. It is about using soccer as a conduit to develop character and core values: grit, determination, integrity, humility, fairness, excellence, and self-control. It is a venue to teach children that failure is a part of learning and that overcoming challenges is a part of life. Our players learn the value of empathy and growth in a community; recognizing that every player is an internal part of the team. We are firmly committed to providing each child with the support and tools necessary to approach new situations as challenges and to understand that winning and losing are just short-term consequences to the long-term goal: improvement.
